What is a Sangha? The etymology of the word "sangha" is Hindu and means "community together. In it's most common use it was used to describe a community of Buddhist Monks. Now days you will hear it used to describe any number of spiritual communities where they meet to support each other on a similar path. |
COBLsangha is not organized religion. It is a meeting place for any person on a spiritual path that embraces kindness, compassion and oneness. Are you seeking support on your spiritual path? Would you like to increase your conscious contact with your Higher Power? Are you interested in knowing The Truth and are you trying to live a compassionate life? Do you take responsibility for your health, spiritual growth and the planet? Do you meditate to quiet your mind? (Or would you like to?) If you answer "yes" to any of these questions then you will find community at the Center of Being Light. We study the teachings of non-dualistic teachers (i.e. "we are all one") and authors including Buddha, Jesus, Ramana, Native American Shamen and their inspired poets and students such as Rumi, Depak Chopra, Hafiz, Wayne Dyer, don Miguel Ruiz, Marianne Williamson, Byron Katie, Gary Zukav, Michael Ledwith, Michael Beckwith, Ernest Holmes, Kathianne Lewis, Gangaji, Kevin Griffin, Bill W, etc... If living a healthy life is an important part of living your Truth and being aware of how we are creating our lives, supporting each other and the planet then join us on this journey. |
